Integrations, imports and data operations

Plan how NexOperate connects to your existing tools, moves records into a workspace and keeps operational data reliable.

Map the source of truth

Before importing data, identify which system owns each field. Decide whether NexOperate will become the primary operational record or whether a separate system remains authoritative for a specific domain.

A clear ownership map prevents duplicate records and conflicting updates.

Clean before you connect

Standardise names, statuses, identifiers, dates and ownership before loading records. Resolve duplicates and document any transformations so the first reports from the workspace are trustworthy.

Start with a small sample and validate the resulting records with the people who use them every day.

Protect credentials and monitor change

Use restricted credentials, clear integration ownership and a documented rotation process. Review connector activity and disable integrations that no longer serve an operational need.

When a source system changes its schema or workflow, test the downstream effect on reports, automations and AI-assisted actions.
